In Bloom - Thank You 2

The In Bloom Stamp Set has allowed me to really be creative and I am loving this latest version.  I plan on doing one that say Happy Birthday as well.  The gold embossing adds richness to this simple card.  This is a favorite of my sister.  Think of all the color combos you can do with any part of this card.

Roccoco Rose cardstock (soon to be retired) 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Night of Navy cardstock 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White cardstock 5" x 3 3/4" (front), and 1 1/2" x 5", and 5 1/2" x 4" (inside)

To start, I stamped multiple small flowers from the In Bloom set randomly on the larger white paper in Roccoco Rose ink (retiring May 2021).  I then stamped the middle in Night of Navy ink and finally, the narrow leaves still in the navy.  I left the center area blank.  I would like to point out that when using photopolymer stamps, I use a foam mat under my paper (Stampin' Pierce Mat).  It allows the ink to spread more evenly.  I adhered the strip of white paper onto this for my banner sentiment. You can use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin' Seal.

Then I placed a piece of Tear & Tape along the top and bottom of the white strip of paper, overlapping the seam. I removed the adhesive cover leaving the sticky side expose.  With Versamark, I stamped my sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. I like the font and the size.  I covered the two lines and sentiment with Gold Embossing powder, tapped off the excess and melted and sealed with the Heat Tool.

I folded the rose paper on the score line and burnished it withe the bone folder.  Next, I adhered this piece to my Night of Navy paper and then attached it to the front of the rose cardstock.

For the inside, I used the piece of Basic White cardstock 5 1/4" x 4".  I stamped similar flowers and leaves in the lower right corner with the same colors.

To complete my card, I also decorate the envelope.  I hope you enjoyed this card and found the explanation to be helpful.  Let me know if you have any questions.
